Simultaneously, Virtus Solis announced a collaboration with Orbital Composites to develop a first Space Based Solar Power pilot plant in 2027.

We didn't stop there. We also released the first survey paper comparing modern Space Based Solar Power systems to each other with common finance and launch assumptions as there has been a lot of effort from several organizations globally performing detailed studies, including NASA earlier in January. We conclude that all of these systems are viable sources of clean, firm and low-cost energy for the entire planet. We also show that our solution excels in comparison.

We are happy to announce Seth Elliott as our COO.
Seth has more than a decade of C-level experience in multinational environments, having held executive leadership roles in New York, Madrid, Berlin, Sofia and Barcelona. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for accelerating corporate growth in diverse markets, on behalf of a variety of companies in multiple industries, through economic conditions ranging from boom to bust, developing a rare combination of experience, vision, leadership and business intuition. During his career, he has served as President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Strategy Officer for companies ranging from SaaS to Specialty Pharmaceuticals to Luxury Cosmetics, with a particular focus on growth technology firms.
Seth was most recently the Chief Operating Officer for Quantive, the leading Objectives and Key Results SaaS platform, a Series C scale up funded by marquis venture funds Insight Partners, Index Ventures and CRV. He was accountable for more than 35% of the organization including, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, Technical Success, People Operations, Corporate Development, and Finance. In this role, Seth managed teams across 3 continents and 6 countries. He was instrumental in the integration of 4 acquisitions and drove organic growth 20x over the course of his tenure.
Seth joins us to help accelerate our growth, with an immediate focus on corporate development – capital structuring, financings, and strategic partnerships. As we continue to expand we will deploy his experience in scaling companies across the go-to-market and operational elements of our business in order to speed time to market and improve outcomes.
