Space Solar Power is the process of harvesting power from the sun via satellites and beaming it to the Earth’s surface. In January, China announced the launch of a kilometer-wide satellite solar array for this purpose. In the U.S. and the UK, several start-ups also plan to put solar arrays into space in a bid to create the ultimate clean energy source.
