Revisting the Spacewatch Summit a Year Later

Last year we were part of the Spacewatch/Space Cafe summit on space based solar power - https://spacewatch.global/2022/11/space-cafe-summit-recap-the-quest-for-energy-from-space/

A lot has happened in a year.

Since that time, the ESA has funded multiple projects to help kick start space based solar power.

The UK Government funded demonstrations in wireless power transfer hardware and simulation software.

The US Congress introduced legislation to recognize spaced based solar as an advanced form of energy generation.

We at Virtus Solis successfully demonstrated wireless power transfer at 100 meters and have done dozens of live wireless power transfer demonstrations.

We’re looking forward to the progress next year!
